The Superstar SPF 50+ is the first SPF that doesn't make me breakout, but a little goes a long way and if applied more than a thin layer it can cause you to look too oily.

Superstar is a revolutionary product. I've been using it on my daughter (12 y/o) for 2 years. I also use it as a primer under my makeup when I know I am going into the sun.
Because Superstar is a physical blocker it sits on the skin - all day! The problem with other sunscreens is you have to reapply them every 3-4 hours for them to be effective. What school kid is going to reapply sunscreen every 3-4 hours? And, you do your makeup in the morning, are you seriously going to reapply sunscreen after 3 hours and then ruin your makeup?
In the height of the Sydney summer last year - my daughter was the only kid at her school who wasn't getting sunburnt.
Yes - Superstar is thicker - but that's why it works so well and for SO LONG.
I warm superstar in my fingers first and pat onto my skin. You don't need much.
People forget that the purpose of sunscreen is to stop skin cancer and skin ageing. So that's why I want the highest protection with SPF 50+.
Also, I would never use a chemical sunscreen on my daughter. Another reason why I love Superstar - it doesn't contain any nasty ingredients.
My advice when buying a sunscreen - research the ingredients list and always go for SPF50+
Loving this sunscreen. Have never used a 50+ that feels so light on the skin, and doesn’t leave behind a sticky, white residue. My 4 YO daughter is in love as well because it rubs in so easily.
