Every treatment at Liberty Belle is customised. You will receive a thorough face-to-face assessment and consultation with your Cosmetic Nurse Injector, where we discuss your individual concerns and desired outcomes. This face-to-face consultation is the safest and most effective way to tailor your treatment plan to best suit your personal aims.

All cosmetic treatments carry risks. These risks will be discussed prior to the commencement of treatment. Our nurses utilise a range of techniques, and every treatment is carefully tailored to suit the individual patient.

After an extensive consultation, your Cosmetic Nurse Injector will take photographs before they begin.

The procedure is carried out using the highest infection control standards. Skin will be cleaned using a disinfectant solution prior to any injections.

The threads are inserted into the subdermal level in a mesh-like pattern to promote the creation of new collagen. The threads activate collagen synthesis, which produces a gradual skin thickening, skin firming, and rejuvenation effect.

Topical anaesthetic is applied to the treatment area. The threads are inserted using a micro-needle. There is no incision, and no stitches are required.

Treatments typically take between thirty and sixty minutes.

Threads are most commonly used to address the following areas:

• Upper and lower cheeks
• Forehead and brows
• Neck and jawline
• Nose to mouth lines
• Marionette lines

They induce natural collagen production, which creates a firming effect. This effect lasts for six to twelve months.

Results may be seen in six weeks and will continue to improve over two to six months. While the threads slowly dissolve, their effects may last up to twelve months.

Mild swelling and bruising should be expected and will take several days to subside. There may be mild tenderness in the treated area for approximately one week.

Avoid wearing makeup to appointments where possible.

Schedule the treatment at least one week prior to a special occasion or event. If you have an active infection or virus, or are feeling unwell, it is best to call and reschedule your appointment. If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, or actively trying to conceive, we cannot carry out a thread treatment.
