Membership to the Rhinoplasty Society is by invitation and only available to surgeons who have an avid interest in nasal surgery and have a large number of rhinoplasty patients. Members in Australia must be certified by the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons and have a minimum of three years’ active practice in the field of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, Otolaryngology, or Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
There are several associate members but to become an Active Member, or Full Member, surgeons must show contributions to the education of rhinoplasty surgeons by teaching and publishing. The society was formed to bring together the most respected nasal surgeons in the world to further education about rhinoplasty through seminars and international meetings.
