Lisa's Skin Transformation

Lisa is not wearing makeup or foundation in either of these photographs.

BEFORE: Lisa has pigmentation and melasma. She was concerned about the appearance of excess pigmentation on her face, especially on her top lip. She also had mild concerns about congestion.

AFTER: Lisa has been following a Liberty Belle Rx skincare regimen and has seen massive improvements. She has not had any other treatments, such as a laser. This is because laser skin treatments like Fraxel are known to carry the risk of worsening abnormal skin pigmentation in people with melasma.

A CHANCE MEETING:

It was pure chance that kick-started Lisa’s skin transformation journey.

Lisa is a make-up artist and was asked to do the pre-event make-up of a 16 year old girl. This girl was Sophie Moss, the daughter of Andrea Moss and Dr Chris Moss.

Andrea and Dr Moss are the founders of Liberty Belle Skin Centre. Lisa told Andrea that she had actually been thinking about going to Liberty Belle for some time to inquire about improving her pigmentation and melasma.

Lisa thought that a laser treatment might help, but Andrea was concerned that a laser treatment would make her melasma worse. Lisa disclosed to Andrea that she had previously received a laser treatment at another clinic. Although the melasma faded initially, it came back “10 times worse.”

Andrea confirmed that the heating process and inflammation from lasers can exacerbate melasma discolouration.

Lisa told Andrea that she had tried “every product under the sun” and nothing would fade her pigmentation. She had lost confidence in her appearance and didn’t want her closest friends to see her without “a tonne of concealer and foundation on.” She felt she couldn’t even walk down the street without wearing make-up.

Lisa stated that she felt “very down” about her skin, especially since she was marrying the love of her life in January 2020. She feared nothing could be done to improve her pigmentation.

Andrea offered to help Lisa, telling her that the brightening and gently exfoliating products in the Liberty Belle Rx range could make a difference to her skin.

Liberty Belle Rx was formulated by Plastic Surgeon Dr Chris Moss with professional input from his team of Doctors, Scientists, Nurses, and Dermal Clinicians.

Dr Moss and the clinical team from Liberty Belle Skin Centre have treated over 35,000 patients and clients. They used their extensive clinical knowledge and expertise to formulate a skincare range that was safe, effective, and able to deliver real results.

Liberty Belle Rx combines scientifically-proven actives and naturally-sourced botanicals. It is customisable for all skin types, ages, and genders.

THE PLAN:

Andrea booked Lisa in for a skin assessment that afternoon with one of the Dermal Clinicians at Liberty Belle Skin Centre.

The above “BEFORE” photograph was taken to provide a baseline. At this consultation, Lisa was recommended a Liberty Belle Rx “Brightening & Exfoliating” regimen.

THE OUTCOME:

After using Liberty Belle Rx for 8 weeks, Lisa was absolutely thrilled with her results. She noticed that her pigmentation had improved remarkably, with improvements also apparent in overall skin appearance, hydration levels, congestion, pore visibility, and under-eye dark circles.

Lisa continues to use her Liberty Belle Rx regimen.

LISA'S LIBERTY BELLE RX SKINCARE REGIMEN:

The hero brightening products Lisa uses are Bright Star and  Next Level. Both are rich in Vitamin C and a must for pigmented and sun-damaged skin. She also uses Glam Squad, which provides deep hydration and contains Vitamin B3 (Niacinamide) to help brighten the skin.

The hero exfoliating products are  Dream Team and Quiet Achiever. These work in different ways to exfoliate the skin and promote cell turnover, a vital part of targeting sun damage.

Last but not least, Lisa applied our sunscreen Superstar SPF 50+ every single day. Superstar is a zinc-based physical blocker that works by blocking UVA and UVB, preventing further sun damage and thereby limiting the development of pigmentation in the future.

As Lisa had minor concerns about congestion, Game Changer was added to her regimen for its pore-refining and skin mattifying benefits. Game Changer also works as a fantastic make-up primer.
